Intro:

Hey everyone, welcome back!
In this video, I’ll show you how to use Rufus to create a bootable USB drive for Windows 10 — step by step, super easy, and fast.

Let’s get started!

Step 1: Download Rufus

First, open your browser and go to the official Rufus website:
rufus.ie

Click on the latest version under the “Download” section.

No installation needed — it’s a portable app, just double-click to run it.

Step 2: Plug in Your USB Drive

Now insert your USB flash drive —
Make sure it’s at least 8 GB, and note:
All data will be erased, so back it up if needed.

Step 3: Select the Windows 10 ISO

Next, click the “Select” button in Rufus.
Browse and choose your Windows 10 ISO file.
If you don’t have one, you can download it from Microsoft’s official website.

Step 4: Configure Rufus Settings

Now check these options:

  • Device: Your USB drive
  • Boot selection: Your Windows 10 ISO
  • Partition scheme:
    • Use MBR for older BIOS systems
    • Use GPT for UEFI systems
  • File system: Leave it as NTFS

Everything else can stay as default.

Step 5: Click Start

Now click Start.
If prompted, choose Standard Windows Installation and press OK.
Rufus will warn you that all data on the USB will be destroyed — click OK.

Now just wait! It usually takes a few minutes.

Step 6: Done!

Once it says READY, you’re done!
Eject your USB drive and use it to install or repair Windows 10 on any PC.
